History

The Partners…to Profits program developed from the work of The Mayer Group, a consulting company founded in 1994 by Ken and Dee Mayer.  Over the years a recurring theme for many Mayer Group clients has been the need for management development training that produces measurable results tied to their company’s strategic initiatives.  After several years of searching for just the right development process, we discovered Measurable ManagementTM

Developed by the U.K. based firm, McQuillan-Byrne ten years ago, and proven highly successful in the U.K. and throughout Europe, the Measurable ManagementTM program has only recently been licensed for distribution in America.  The Mayer Group, Inc. is one of the first five authorized facilitators of Measurable ManagementTM in the nation.

In order to give more focus and attention to training and development, we created the Profiles…to Partners program in 2005.  The program’s mission is to provide a more structured approach to business performance improvement and workforce development.  Measurable ManagementTM and its companion product, World Class WorkforceTM, are the flagship products of the Profiles…to Partners program. 

The Mayer Group, Inc. has also developed Profiles…to Partners® , a unique, proven, high quality, very cost effective employee recruiting process for meeting our client’s hiring needs.

Additional performance improvement products are under development and will be introduced at a later date. 

Founder Profiles

Ken Mayer is Vice President and lead consultant / developer with The Mayer Group, Inc.  Throughout a corporate career that spanned more than 25 years, Ken managed significant changes in business strategy, work process, environment and culture in a variety of organizational settings. His has directed operations, financial and personnel management for organizations as large as 600 employees and designed, organized and implemented internal consulting and human resource management support for a four-state, 21,000 employee company. He also facilitated and participated in numerous strategic planning and change management projects at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and Payless ShoeSource during his management career.  Ken holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Master's Degrees in Business Management and Human Resource Development.  He is a licensed facilitator for Measurable ManagementTM and World Class WorkforceTM.

Dee Mayer is President and business manager with The Mayer Group, Inc.  During a twenty year corporate career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and AT&T, Dee held a variety of accounting, financial management and human resource management positions. She has directed the forecasting and tracking of a $40 million expense budget for an organization of more than 3000 employees. She also designed and implemented a comprehensive financial management system of budgeting, invoicing and auditing for a large Information Systems organization.

Dennis Green is President of TMG Performance Solutions, Inc., a key affiliate of The Mayer Group and Partners…to Profits.  In a 30 year career in the telecommunications industry, Dennis held numerous management positions in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Strategic Planning, and International.  He has been responsible for a $100M capital equipment budget and managed workgroups of more than 300 IT professionals.  Dennis began working with The Mayer Group as a contract consultant in early 2005 and later became owner of TMG Performance Solutions, Inc.  Dennis has a undergraduate degree in economics from Rockhurst College and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.  He is a licensed facilitator for Measurable ManagementTM and World Class WorkforceTM.
